

Stored Value is a travel arrangement in which you load the Rav-Kav card with an amount to be used for single rides. With this travel arrangement you receive a discount according to the passenger discount profile (National Insurance beneficiaries, persons with a disability, senior citizens, children and youth).

To receive the fare exemption for riding the Red Line you must load the appropriate profile on the Rav-Kav card.
Persons entitled to fare exemption
- Citizens 75 years of age and above
- Persons with blindness
- Volunteers – Shalat (unpaid military service), cadets in a pre-army preparatory program or a half-year program, National Service or Service Year (upon presenting a valid card).
- Children under 5 years of age (provided the child is accompanied by an adult. A second child is entitled to a 50% discount).
- Security forces: soldiers in uniform, police officers and prison guards (upon presenting a valid card).

Please note! A profile that grants fare exemption also requires validation of the ticket for every ride.

Every ride on the light rail must be validated, including rides of passengers with a profile entitling them to use public transportation free of charge, among them soldiers, National Service volunteers, persons with a disability, senior citizens age 75 and above.

Children under 5 years of age are exempt from payment for using public transportation if accompanied by a passenger that paid the fare (the exemption is for only one child per passenger who bought a ticket. A second child is entitled to a 50% discount). Children between the ages of 5-18 (or above 18 years of age if they are in 12th grade or in a special education school) are entitled to a 50% discount. The discount is applied when paying with a Rav-Kav card or via an app.
